Shillong: Shillong is the capital city of the state of Meghalaya in north-eastern India. It is a hill station that offers scenic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Cherrapunjee: Cherrapunjee, also known as Sohra, is a town in Meghalaya, India, that is famous for its high rainfall and natural attractions. It is located on the southern edge of the Khasi Hills, at an altitude of about 1484 meters above sea level. Cherrapunjee holds the record for the most rainfall in a year and a month, with 26,461 millimeters and 9,300 millimeters respectively. Some of the popular tourist spots in Cherrapunjee are the double-decker living root bridge, the Mawsmai caves, the Nohkalikai waterfalls, and the Mawylyngnong village. Cherrapunjee is inhabited by the Khasi people, who have a rich culture and history.

Day 1

| Pick up from Guwahati Airport & Drop to Shillong Hotel

On arrival pick up from Guwahati airport & drop to Shillong hotel. On the way, visit Umiam Lake & Ward’s Lake. Overnight stay at a hotel in Shillong.

Umiam Lake: Umiam Lake is a man-made reservoir in Shillong, Meghalaya, surrounded by green East Khasi hills and lush forests. You can enjoy boating, water sports, picnics, and nature walks at this scenic spot. The lake is open all the time and has a park nearby for visitors. The lake was created by damming the Umiam River in the early 1960s for generating hydroelectric power. It was the first hydel power project in Northeastern India. The lake covers an area of about 222 square kilometres and has a dam that is 1,220 metres long. The lake is also known as Barapani Lake by the locals.

Wards Lake: Wards Lake is a scenic lake located in the heart of Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya. The lake is surrounded by lush green gardens and a cobble-stoned walkway. The lake offers boating facilities, a cafeteria, and a musical fountain. Wards Lake is a popular tourist attraction and a relaxing spot for locals and visitors alike.

Day 2

| Shillong to Mawlynnong & Dawki Excursion – (Boat Ride on Dawki River is on Direct Payment Basis)

Post breakfast, we will proceed to visit the cleanest village of Asia - Mawlynnong. You will also get a chance to explore the nearby villages and witness the amazing living root bridges.

Later on, you will be transferred to the international border of Bangladesh, wherein you will be visiting Dawki Village. This village is known for having some of the cleanest rivers, a classic example of which is the enchanting Umngot River.

Mawlynnong: Mawlynnong is a village in Meghalaya, India, that has been recognized as Asia's cleanest village by Discovery India in 2003. The village is known for its natural beauty, its living root bridge, and its matrilineal society. The villagers practice eco-friendly habits such as bamboo dustbins, rainwater harvesting, and organic farming. Mawlynnong attracts many tourists who want to experience its serene and scenic environment.

Later on, you will return to Shillong for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 3

| Cherrapunjee Day Excursion (Entry Fees are on Direct Payment Basis)

After breakfast, begin the excursion towards the wettest place on Earth, Cherrapunjee. On the way, visit the Mawkdok Dympep ViewPoint, Wei Sawdong Falls, Nohkalikai falls, Mawsmai cave, Seven Sisters’ fall, Elephant Falls (As per the time permits). Overnight stay at a hotel in Shillong.

Day 4

| Shillong to Kaziranga

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Kaziranga. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 5

| Kaziranga Local Sightseeing

After breakfast visit Kaziranga National Park for Jeep Safari & Elephant Safari ( on direct payment basis ).Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 6

| Kaziranga to Guwahati

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati. Guests can Brahmaputra River Cruise on Direct Payment Basis. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 7

| Guwahati Local Sightseeing

After breakfast visit Kamakhya Temple and Umanath Temple. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 8

| Guwahati Railway Station/Airport drop

If city tax is applicable guests need to pay at the time of checking it is not included in the cost.
Hotels may ask for one security deposit which will be refundable /Nonrefundable as per their policy guest needs to pay at the time of check-in.
Hotel standard Check-In / Check-out time 1400 hrs. and 1200 hrs. respectively. If you wish to book an early check-in or a late check-out, you would be required to get in touch with the Tripncare representative before your departure, as it is subject to availability.
The guests are requested to follow the rules and regulations of the resort/hotel where they are accommodated.
In the unlikely event of reserved accommodation not being available for you upon arrival at your destination, we would immediately arrange for an alternate accommodation of the same standards.
Interconnecting rooms/adjacent rooms/rooms on the same floor /rooms near to each other are strictly subject to availability. Please note that these packages are customizable, which means that you will be able to make changes to the itinerary/activity if you so desire. The final payment will be calculated as per the activities reflecting on the website which will be outlined in the confirmatory e-mail sent to you.
Please note that if your package includes a flight which is a low cost carrier (Air Asia, Air India Express) then baggage will not be included in the package. Baggage can be added as per your requirement at an additional cost depending on the airlines and destination.
The package price does not include special dinner or mandatory charges at time levied by the hotels especially during New Year and Christmas or any special occasions. Tripncare shall try to communicate the same while booking the package. However Tripncare may not have this information readily available all the time.
Tripncare reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation re – scheduling / re-routing of flights, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
For any paid activity which is non-operational due to any unforeseen reason, we will process refund & same should reach the guest within 60 days of processing the refund. Also, for any activity which is complimentary and not charged to Tripncare & guest, no refund will be processed.
For any amendment requests in the Itinerary, please advise our transport manager at least 72 hours in advance and the request shall be subject to availability.
Shorter stays than the booked stay and early check-out will be regarded as cancellation and hence no refund will be provided.
Strictly no refund for unutilized services once the booking is confirmed.
We do not hold any responsibility for additional costs or adjustments that may arise as a result of events beyond our control, such as technical problems with means of transportation, changes imposed by rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline/train, political disturbances, natural disasters, bad weather or terrorist activity, etc.
In the unfortunate event of a vehicle breakdown, we will provide you alternate vehicle. However, the time loss due to the event will not be compensated.
All the hotels have been given as per your budget and booking has been finalized with the consent of the guests.
Request you to be punctual for all tours and transfers. Maximum waiting time shall be 05 minutes for sharing and 10 minutes for Private. If you miss any pickup, you will have to go to attractions on your own. We suggest you to be at hotel lobby 10 mins before of your tour starting time.
(In case of inclusion of airfares with a holiday) are subject to vary anytime also a matter of availability.
Do check your flight status/schedule 24 hours before the scheduled flight departure, since airline schedules are subject to change without notice.
Please expect to receive your vouchers 72 hours before your departure date (subject to full payment of your package cost)
Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar, etc., are not included.
In case your package needs to be cancelled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. Tripncare shall strive to give you the maximum possible refund subject to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.
If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation e-mail, Tripncare reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package cancellation policy.
The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per passports. Tripncare will not bear any liability for the name change fee, if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.
Tripncare officials or representatives will NEVER ask you for your personal information i.e. your credit/debit card details, passwords, PIN, CVV, OTP etc. Please do not share these details with anyone over phone, SMS, Whatsapp, email or any other source.
After arriving at the airport, the guest would be required to go through the Immigration process and then head towards the Baggage Claim Area. After that proceed to exit gate to meet with Tripncare representative.
Please ensure that you meet the airport representative within 70 minutes of the flight landing, as the driver has standard instructions to leave at a specified time. There could be a delay in your airport pick-up or transfer due to unforeseen circumstances as traffic, car breakdown, etc.
Transfers wherever included are without nights surcharges.
After Issuance of final documents TRIPNCARE is not responsible for any cancellations or alterations of The tour, by the client or by the airlines. (Air Ticket Refund or Cancellations Will Be Made as Per the Specific Airlines Terms & Conditions).
In case of accident or death, Tripncare will not be responsible whatsoever.
Any extra tour desired by the customer, will be borne by the customer on his own.
In case of natural calamities during a planned tour, we may either show another place or postpone the trip to a later date.
In case of any immigration/ visa complications, the cancellation policy shall be applicable in full airfares.
To travel to any international destination, your passport must have a minimum validity of 06 months from your planned date of return.
Tripncare provides Visa assistance only, Visa Approval is at the discretion of Consulate.
